The Dax Centre,(www.daxcollection.org) fosters understanding of the mind, mental illness and trauma through art and creativity.
It has received 2000 artworks created by children and adolescents, between 1945 and 1986 in psychotherapy sessions with the late Margaret Ericksen, Senior Child Psychotherapist at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
We invite contact with people who believe their art may be in this collection.
We encourage those who may know a creator of the artworks, to contact encourage them to contact us if they wish to do so.
